I am glad a couple of friends of mine recommended Dave to my wife and me. Dave initially managed our condo for rental for a couple of years when we moved to Ontario. He then helped us to sell the condo. While renting the condo, Dave was able to pick the right long-term and reliable tenants for us. We couldn't be happier with Dave's recommendation as he did a thorough background check to make sure the tenants were the right fit and met our needs. When we sold the condo, the market was not in our favour. However, we knew from the beginning we were making a loss. Nonetheless, Dave provided us with information and his honest opinion that allowed us to make an informed decision. We highly recommend Dave and we look forward to working with him in the future.

Dave has been our Realtor to friends and clients for several years. We know to call on him anytime we have questions or need to refer a friend to buy/sell. We got an offer on our condo within a week and had it sold within a month. There were issues with getting Condo Documents on our end and Dave was right there to solve it immediately. Choosing Dave Rhydderch as my realtor (based on a referral from a friend) was a great decision. He has been able to find the right match for me twice – first for my primary home, and more recently for an investment rental property. He advised on the best locations (for someone new to Calgary), type and age of house, the value of legal basement suites, and alerted me to potentially costly issues such as structural, asbestos and poly-b piping. He also provided recommendations for insurance, mortgage, and legal assistance. His expertise didn’t stop on closing day. Dave provided advice on my investment property at no extra charge based on his experience with rentals. He guided me on what renovations will provide value, and how to interview and select good tenants. I credit Dave with the fact that the purchase, renovation and rental process has gone so smoothly. Once the tenants move in on December 1, I will be cash flowing much more than I had anticipated for a bungalow plus legal basement suite. I can’t wait until Realtor Dave helps me find my next property!

Dave has done an excellent job in selling our house. We're non-residents of Canada living in the USA. We have a property built for ourselves 30 years ago in Diamond Cove, Calgary and had to rent the property out due to a foreign job transfer. The temporary transfer became permanent, and the house was rented out all these years. Four years ago, I went to Calgary and checked on the house. I wanted to sell the property after the tenants move out and I found Dave. It turned out the tenants would stayed for another four years. Four years was a long time, I received market updates from time to time from Dave and I was totally in tune with the market conditions. My tenants vacated the place two months ago. I sent in contractors and painted the interior of the house. After that I contacted Dave, Dave went in and did a house inspection and sent me a lot of pictures. Many little things I asked Dave to get a handyman to fix but he volunteered to do the work himself for free. He made an excellent package to list the property on MLS and the house was sold in one day, credit should go to Dave for his accurate assessment of the market price. The sell was not quite straightforward however, there were a lot of back and forth bargaining. At the end the buyer and seller met at the midpoint and the sell was concluded. I felt I was offered a fair market price; both the buyer and seller were ahead of the game I believe. Throughout the bargaining, there was no pressure. Dave helped me with the requirements and paperwork to complete the sell. He introduced me virtually to his trusted lawyer, accountant, and the companies which did the certificates required from the government. All the agents participated in the selling were professionals and the sell was completed so smoothly that we had very little work to do. This has been a good experience, everything was done remotely, better than what I had expected as a non-resident of Canada. Many thanks for the job well done! James Kong

He went above and beyond at every step to help us sell our house, but also acted as the property manager for when we were renting the house. While we worked with Dave several years ago in 2017, I wanted to write a review today because it shows how important Dave's long term vision of how you and your family may grow can be. He truly helped us to find a home that we could grow into over the years and we have been so appreciative to be here and settled, especially through this period of uncertainty in the world. I can 100% say that Dave went above and beyond what we could ask of a realtor and 4 years later we are still grateful for his support in finding our perfect home.
