<p>When my husband and I were looking to purchase our first home in Calgary, we checked lots of possible realtor options. In the end, a colleague referred Scot to us, and we couldn’t have been happier with the job he did. Throughout the entire process he was professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. He took our lack of Calgary real estate knowledge in stride and answered (honestly and candidly) every dumb question we could come up with.</p> <p>We were new immigrants and didn’t know anything about how it worked, but Scot was really great at walking us through the process, and by the end we felt really comfortable with what to look, and what steps were involved. He was also super responsive whenever we had questions, he walked with us through a bunch of homes, and gave us great advice the whole time.</p> <p>Even when we liked some terrible homes/ locations (community) he was supportive but pointed out specific problems and explained potential points of concern; at no point did we feel any pressure to make an offer on a home that wasn’t perfect. We quickly came to trust his instincts – he’d come to completely different conclusions than us after looking at the same pictures but every time he ended up being right. He was always available when we would send him messages, more than once we toured potential homes less than a day from when we first saw the listing. In such a competitive market as Calgary this kind of availability was crucial. Once we were ready to make an offer Scot was there in helping us prepare and schedule inspections. In less than 2 days he was able to put together a very competitive offer in time for the offer review date. He kept in constant communication with the selling agent and provided critical advice on improving our offer that ended up winning the deal. Without his help we wouldn’t be currently living in our beautiful home .</p>

<p> </p> <p>Scot made me see the true benefit of working with a real estate agent when selling a home. He answered every question and concern that I had without any delay. I had issues after a home inspection that concerned me. Scot stepped in immediately and worked with the buyer's agent to get the best results for me. I would strongly recommend him to anyone buying or selling in the Calgary area.</p>

<p>Scot Rose has helped us to buy and sell two homes. In both instances, he offered exceptional guidance ensuring we were buying low and selling high. This was exceptional in the second case as we timed things perfectly leading us to make money during Calgary's boom ten years ago. We moved in with our in-laws for 6 weeks due to possession date differences but the $60,000 in our pocket made the transition worth it. We currently receive regular updates on homes in our neighborhood as we contemplate another move from the suburbs back to the inner core as our children get older. I would not hesitate to ask Scot to lead these significant decisions for the rest of my life. He is always professional, readily available and offers the perspective of the buyer/seller in language that generates understanding.</p>
