As a first time home buyer in a market like Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, I was very grateful to have Sean by my side through the process of purchasing my first home. It was, at times, a long and stressful process, but Sean was always ready with his support, thoughts and recommendations. From our first meeting, Sean took the time to get to know me, my ideal location, what I needed in the property and what I wanted in the property. He kept me updated throughout he process with emails and texts about potential properties. He organized many viewings for me and patiently navigated them all with me. What I really appreciated about Sean was that he provided me with his honest thoughts and opinion. He was not in it just for a quick sale, he kept what I wanted in mind and provided very honest and objective thoughts on each property. Sean also took the time to put together analysis of the market, the local area and sales history of the area and building. These reports were really helpful in making a decision. Sean was always ready with excellent recommendations, from mortgage broker to home inspector. He also has a sharp eye for design, so that was a real bonus when looking at different properties and seeing the potential in the property. Once I decided to make an offer, Sean put together all the documents and took me through the whole process from negotiations, subject removal and closing. And what a journey and learning experience it was for this first time home buyer! For something as important as a first home and for such an investment, I am very grateful that I had Sean as my agent. Sean was very professional and was able to navigate the complexities of Covid 19. We listed our house one week before Covid 19 hit Vancouver and the whole real estate industry had to pivot to keep the market moving. He was very prompt in making things happen like getting the subjects removed as well as recommending good home inspectors and real estate lawyers to make sure my next home is one I am comfortable living in. He has a good idea which homes have good layouts in terms of square foot optimization and for choosing homes that are right for my needs. He also made sure I sign all the proper documentation that I need when making an offer that cover everything I need.
