Our family was lucky and privileged to work with Stephen Lau and FayeRen-Lau team to sell our home in Edmonton, Alberta in summer 2021 and their service was outstanding! Before proceeding with Stephen and Faye, as our real estate agents, we tried to work with another agent, and it was not the most pleasant experience. When we decided to work with Stephen and Faye, we learned that selling a property requires the realtors to invest time and efforts to understand the selling strengths and features of the property, efforts to promote a listing through their website and through their social media presence, and time and effort conducting relevant and comparative data analysis. Both, Stephen and Faye are very professional and seasoned realtors who made the whole selling process very easy while taking numerous extra steps to ensure that we were fully satisfied in the process. For instance, during our first “greet and meet” they immediately saw and suggested ways to improve our chances to sell the house by working with the professional designer to utilize our furniture in the most effective way, and then arranging to have professional photographs and 3D video taken with all the exact measurements of every single room in the house. They spent hours answering our questions throughout the entire process, including providing constant “hand-holding” and reassurance for each of the showings and being available 24/7 during the sale process. Our house listing looked amazing, and our house went under contract within a month after being listed at 1.6% under the asking price. Stephen and Fayeagain were very supportive every step of the way through the closing process. Stephen Lau and Faye, his lovely wife, took on quite a challenge when we settled on them as our realtor. He was able to sell our property in the middle of a pandemic, where almost all sectors are economically struggling, at a price we were very happy with. Here is why you should pick him: We consulted a few of his colleagues and counterparts to see what they had to say about our property. They came, they saw and mentioned a price that the unit could potentially sell at and that was it. Then came Stephen and Faye along with a 1.5 inch binder full of documents. This binder included market analysis of the area, history of all the comparable properties that sold in the area for the last 3 to 5 years and he pulled the title of the unit. He presented a range and gave the backup for the origin of the number to boot and told us to digest it over the weekend. Here is the kicker, all this was done whilst we were still deciding on which realtor to pick. This alone showed me that the man knows his business. Regarding customer service... well this was my first time selling a property, Stephen and his wife walked us through every step. Day or night they are available to answer our questions. Anytime an offer came, I could count on Stephen's fair feedback and commentary. Professional and diligent. Two words that can best describe him. Would I choose Stephen again? Without a moment's hesitation.
