Katayoon is the perfect mix of knowledgeable, personable, and a wildly skilled negotiator. Her approach is clear, thoughtful, and strategic, but I would say her greatest strength is her connection to people. I wasn't looking for a transaction or an investment - I wanted my perfect home! In 2017, she helped buy my first place. As a first time homebuyer, I had no idea what to expect, and she helped me secure the most beautiful space in my price range. That space became my beautiful home that I grew as a person in, and as I became ready for a change, Katayoon walked me through this again. I knew my rough parameters, but I wanted to love the new place as much as I love my current place, and I hoped I would know it when I found it. Katayoon sent me a listing that I hadn't really paid attention to, and she asked me to give this one an extra read, and it was perfect. She saw in it what I needed by listening to me. At the open house, we walked in, and I knew it was the one! We competed with multiple offers, and her strong relationships and professionalism landed it for me!! We had to quickly shift to selling my current place, and she mapped out step by step how to get ready for showings, including staging. Everything was perfect with a big turnout at the open houses. We closed the deal with eight offers! EIGHT OFFERS in this market? And she negotiated a price that I was too afraid to even hope for! Everything about buying a new home is personal, and I feel so lucky to have Katayoon as a lifelong friend through this. I have recommended Katayoon to countless friends, and at times, I'll recommend Katayoon to someone and they will say something about how they think they have found an agent already, and I always smirk knowing they will come back and ask for her contact. I don't know why anyone would willing go through this process without Katayoon in their corner.

Katayoon helped us buy our new home, and it was the best real estate experience we've had in several sales/purchases. In particular we loved: her experience and advice with what types of renovations would be needed and ballpark costs, her opinions on why a property was priced the way it was, great referrals to inspector, mortgage brokers etc, extremely responsive communication, and the online collaboration centre. We very quickly felt we could trust her guidance, and felt all her advice was spot on. She was great at asking questions and listening to our likes/dislikes, and stepping us through the offer and purchase process, esp when we were anxious about getting all the details right.
