Jon is the security blanket of realtors that you want. My partner and I were first time homebuyers, and were pretty green. Jon is down-to-earth, informative, patient, and made a really daunting experience quite comfortable for us. Biggest thing that stood out about Jon and his service is he really cares about his clients and people in general, he shows this by making donations to really needy charities of our choice on our behalf, and really just treating our family nicely along the way. I cannot recommend Jon enough, he’s actually a human, that is excellent at his work.

Our experience with Jon was amazing! He is a pleasure to work with. Having a big dog and moving from outside of the city, we were expecting everything to be so much more complicated than it was thanks to Jon! He helped us narrow down our options always considering our necessities and restrictions. He is very professional and gave us great opinions on the places that we saw. We had limited time in the city and he was very quick to act when scheduling viewings of properties that we were interested in. He was very good communicating with us, always answered our questions promptly and explained to us in detail. Jon is very friendly and kind, we couldn’t have asked for a better state agent in the rapidly changing Vancouver market!

As first time home buyers, Jon did an excellent job of guiding us through this very complex experience. His website is very easy to use and helpful for novices like us to get a feel for the market without having to spend tons of time on various websites. He explained everything to us in simple terms so we could understand and make more informed decisions. Jon was always available by call or email/text when we had questions and was very on top of research & scheduling viewings when we were busy with our personal lives. He looked for things during viewings and in condo documents that we may have missed and advocated for us strongly. For example, we were ready to make an offer on a condo but later Jon found via the depreciation report that the unit could be responsible for up to $65k in assessment fees in the next few years. He really saved us there! When we did find our home he absolutely went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth move-in process. I came into this experience wary of realtors as everyone has heard less than positive stories before, but Jon brought such a personable and attentive quality to the roll that I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a new home!

This was the first time purchasing a home, and Jon was absolutely amazing. I was slowly looking into buying a place; start talking to a mortgage broker, plan my financial situation, look into what’s out there in the market etc. And then maybe at the end of the year I will get really serious with the search. So I didn’t want to feel rushed to buy a home, as I have had multiple friends who felt they were pressured and rushed throughout the process by their realtors. Jon was recommended by my colleague, and he mentioned Jon is patient, trustworthy with no pressure at all. As I was clueless with property purchasing, I thought Jon would be perfect to talk to. I started viewing properties and I really liked the second property I went view, so upon discussing with Jon we put in an offer and luckily it got accepted. I’ve heard multiple friends going through bidding and not getting the property they liked, so I only put in an offer to get used to the idea of rejection. But I guess everything lined up at a perfect time, so much for “I will seriously look into buying a place at the end of the year” but luckily, it happened in April. And the paper signing and preparation began. Jon was amazingly helpful with the paperwork and document reviews before subject removal. As much as I had to do the document reviewing myself, he emailed me a summary of documents I was given (bylaws, AGM meeting docs, etc) and it helped me so much to educate myself with how things generally work and what to expect. It is a very nerve wrecking process to buy a property but I didn’t feel alone or lost with Jon’s help. I’ve asked multiple questions while I was clueless with everything, and he didn’t make me feel like an idiot. After the subject removal, he drove me to the new place for inspection, he also came to help me take measurements on another day even though it was only about 30 minutes or so. I didn’t really know what I can expect from a realtor, but Jon absolutely tries his best to be there for his clients whenever possible. I have been so happy with Jon that I even recommended him to my sister and brother-in-law, and they have been very happy to have Jon help them with the property hunting. My friends are starting look into buying a property as well so I have been pretty persistent with recommending Jon to them. I really want them to witness what I had gone through with Jon’s assistance, and I have no doubt they would be happy with him, as well. Thank you for all the help Jon ! You’re the best.

We worked with Jon to sell our current place and help us look for a new one to fit the needs of our growing family. Throughout the whole process, he was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful as we were unsure wh at we even wanted. Jon was so kind and accommodating throughout our search and it was so valuable to have him share his expertise at the open houses we went to. In the end, we couldn’t be happier with the home he helped us find and the experience we had selling our current one.
