My wife and I lived in Parry Sound 25 years ago, when we made the decision to move back, Jim Marshall was recommended to us by friends. Jim was very professional and knowledgeable about the Real Estate market in Parry Sound and took the time to go and view the property we were interested in. Jim was able to answer all our questions and give us a detailed explanation on the house, property and garage and the property was everything we could want. Jim helped guide us through a successful purchase. Even after completing the agreement , he has continued to assist with local resources needed to complete the process. I would recommend him to anyone.

Jim is very personable, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We were not familiar with the area and he shared his vast knowledge of the history of the area.

Jim helped me sell the family cottage after another family member reneged on his offer and changed his mind about buying it. At that point, it was after Labour Day, the market was slowing down, and I needed the cottage sold and closed before the year end for estate tax purposes. Essentially I had 3 weeks before Thanksgiving to sell it. Jim was able to calm me down, and very quickly get the cottage on the market as one of his featured properties. Less than a week of being on the market we had two offers to chose from. Jim handle the whole process very professionally. He dealt with myself and the other executor, setting out what needed to be done and what we could expect. He was bang on with his prediction on how long it would sell. His professionalism help to sooth ruffled feathers that can happen when a family cottage needs to be sold after the parents are gone.

Jim’s deep knowledge of the area and the local market allowed us to effectively and efficiently identify and negotiate the purchase of our property in very short order. We highly recommend Jim.
