<p>What a fabulous experience! Doug was always available and quick to respond to any of our questions and concerns. He knew the location and helped us narrow in on what was important to us for our new family home when we started to get overwhelmed with the variety of options. In a market where there was competition for our new home, he helped us successfully navigate the offer process when there was a competing offer and we were the successful bidders after just one round! The paperwork was done quickly and everything went off without a hitch. I recommend Doug with no reservations. His attention to detail and ability to make you feel like you are his first priority during a time when you feel vulnerable about such a big purchase helps you feel confident you are in good hands! <p>We can't say enough great things about Doug Galbraith.</p> <p>When we contacted Doug to take us through a couple of houses, I don't think he fully understood that with the (insane) pace of our lives in Toronto, we were prepared to move quickly. We had found a house we liked and asked him to arrange a showing. While there wasn't a wealth of information available about the property, he was thorough during the walk-through, pointing out the positives and challenges the property presented in a very neutral, knowledgeable manner. While we knew we wanted this house, he tried to slow us down, and had arranged viewings of several other houses within our price range (or less :) and preferred location to make sure we had options.</p> <p>When we said we wanted to make an offer that day, he counselled us to sleep on it. When we wanted to offer asking or over, he told us he didn't think we needed to, even though of course he'd do better on the sale if we did.</p> <p>We did ultimately buy that house (under asking), and we liked and trusted Doug so much we also engaged him as our mortgage broker.</p> <p>We can't recommend Doug highly enough, for his experience, integrity and generally wonderful personality.</p>

I can not say enough good things about Doug. He was so incredibly patient with us and helped us navigate through a very overwhelming milestone in our life. He made himself available for us when we needed him, he simplified things for us so it was understandable, he coached us and kept our spirits up when it felt like we would never find a home. The housing market in London, ON can be a challenging place to buy a home, but with the right agent to help you, it's doable and can be an enjoyable, exciting experience. Doug Galbraith is the agent you want with you. Whether it's your first home or not, you want someone who will be honest, committed and knowledgeable and Doug was all those things and more.
