If you are listing with a discount broker as I did, you should already have selling your home thought out to some extent for yourself, in my opinion. In a market with higher than normal inventory where I am, it is also important for your house to show well or you will lose out to the next one that shows better. This means you need to get people to fix every little thing in the house that can be corrected to make it move-in ready without all kinds of issues. Put yourself in the buyer's shoes. My experience with Lina, Dave and their team is that they did their job, admittedly probably also juggling my listing with several others. Luckily I did not require very high levels of attention. If this works for you, it is possible to save some cost provided you do your job well, which is showing the house in as presentable a condition possible. I learned a bit as I went along, as this was the first property I have sold in a long time. Thankfully we got the job done! PS-I almost never rate anything perfect.
