Simply put, Carlos is the best realtor we've ever worked with, by far. Yes, he is very knowledgeable about the local neighbourhood and market conditions, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Buying a quality home was really important to us. We didn't want to buy a "project". We were renting in the neighbourhood we wanted to buy in, so we were willing to take our time to find the perfect home. That took longer than expected. Looking back at my emails, I'm embarrassed to say that Carlos patiently worked with us for nearly four years of on-and-off looking before we found the perfect place. Carlos has an excellent grasp of home engineering, building code, what's quality renovation work and what's not and why, what building materials were used in different eras, and how we should prioritize the work we wanted to do. I'm a nerd for this sort of thing, and Carlos taught me a lot. He wasn't just a realtor - he was really an indispensable partner to us in finding the perfect home. On top of that, Carlos provided great guidance and advice through the negotiation process and quickly got us to a final agreement that we were happy with. He is an absolute professional that clearly has high standards of conduct and integrity in an industry that doesn't always have the greatest reputation for that. His communication skills are top-notch as well. For as long as we'll be in this area, Carlos is our guy for life.

Carlos is a true professional in his field. Very knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, and an excellent communicator and advisor. I have viewed with him about 8 apartments and he very professionally answered all my questions about them. In few cases, I have overlooked some important (both positive and negative) qualities of those apartments, and am very grateful for him to point them out to me. For example, one apartment building, in which I wanted to buy a condo, was facing some major costly repairs ahead, the implications of which I did not know about. Also, being new to Ottawa, I did not know local professionals such as lawyers and motgage brokers - and Carlos recommended some good professionals to me. If I were to buy another property here in Ottawa, I would definitely contact Carlos again.

This was my first time selling a house, and thanks to Carlos it was a nearly stress-free experience. He provided excellent advice and guidance at every step, communicated clearly and efficiently, and always kept me informed. The end result was a quick sale at a better price than I had hoped for. I highly recommend Carlos - not only is he extremely competent, he's also just a super nice guy!
