The Challenge

Fake and Non Verified Reviews

Fake and non-verified reviews were some of the biggest challenges RE/MAX River City faced prior to RankMyAgent (RMA). For instance, the brokerage found incidents of the public posting negative reviews about specific REALTORS®, once the review was live, the authors refused to respond when asked to identify themselves.  The brokerage reported that it had no record of doing business with the author of the negative review. But, despite the lack of information, and the brokerage’s certainty that none of their professionals worked with this individual, the REALTOR® mentioned in the review was still negatively affected.

When potential clients completed their research online regarding their next REALTOR®, this professional’s online reputation had been scarred by an unverified review left by an individual with no link to RE/MAX River City, or its agents.
