Simon was an excellent realtor. He knew the market well and helped me consider all options before listing. I always felt like any final decision was mine to make. I found Simon very professional and ALWAYS reachable. He seemed able to balance work and personal responsibilities seamlessly. Simon was very firm when negotiating for me. I was also very impressed with Simon's diligence in making the process as simple and as stress free as possible. Instructions and process steps were always clearly laid out. Finally, I was so impressed with Simon's ability to offer a personal touch to the marketing of our property. He realizes it is a home that is for sale- and bought- not just a house. I would and shall recommend Simon in a heartbeat to family and friends.

Although this wasn't our first sale, it was by far our best experience. Simon was exceptional in walking us through how the market has changed since our last home purchase 25 years ago. He provided insight and strategies to ensure we not only sold, but how to get top dollar. He guided us through the offers, provided advice, knowledge and reassurance on our decision making. In our home we often say 'trust the one who knows what they are doing' Simon knows what he is doing! There is always uncertainty in the real estate market, but of this we are certain, Simon is the best! Thank you Simon for helping us find a place to retire and to have someone else create great memories in our now former home.

As first-time home-buyers, my husband and I knew next to nothing when we entered the market, but Simon had our backs from day 1. He helped us understand the crazy market; he pointed out aspects of homes that we may not have noticed on our own; and he was honest and straightforward when we had questions. Due to the insane pace of the sellers' market conditions, we looked for a home for almost 9 full months and made 6 offers before one was accepted, but throughout the process, Simon was helpful, encouraging, and supportive while still recognizing the difficulties of the market and being honest with us about increasing prices and demand. Once we had an offer accepted, Simon continued to help us through all of the steps we had to take. We are so grateful that he was our realtor!!

Simon worked with me through the process on a property 16 years ago and sold my home. I was very happy with the service, working with Simon is not just a client, agent relationship it creates a much deeper relationship. When it came time to sell my second home in Calgary I had complete trust and confidence in Simon as a professional. I didn’t considered using any one else. After working with other agents to buy and sell our previous house in the States, FINALLY we had the pleasure of using our favourite agent from start to finish on our recent home purchase here in Calgary!! I understand my last name lends itself to some bias, but I have also been privy to a lot of the behind the scenes work of Simon (and his partner in business and life, Sonya…AKA Dad and Mom to me :)). When I say work I mean WORK. Simon (Dad) is always on call, always working for his clients. Sonya (Mom) shoulders a ton of behind the scenes work for the business. Growing up in a real estate family, and witnessing the level of care and commitment put in by both my parents, I was underwhelmed by the realtors we used when living in the United States - quickly realizing Simon’s service and commitment to every client is the exception not the norm. With our recent purchase here in Calgary, we received an email from Simon that a house meeting (or exceeding) all our criteria was just listed. We scheduled a showing, saw the place, wrote an offer (in a highly competitive situation), and had that offer accepted all within one evening! Later we found out that Simon had gone above and beyond - all behind the scenes to secure the house for us (including determining the perfect offer both in price and conditions, negotiate with the seller’s realtor, and ensure that we didn’t pay a dollar more than we needed to). After the offer was accepted he continued to guide us through everything that needed to be done (home inspection, removing conditions, smart financing ideas, recommendations for contractors, pre possession check list, you name it). Growing up I got to witness Dad’s level of knowledge of the industry and care for his clients’ best interest. Now, it has truly been an honour & blessing to experience it for ourselves. He has always had a soft spot for first time buyers and the education piece of real estate is his passion. His experience in the industry is invaluable and he is so willing to share that with his clients. Although we probably won’t be buying or selling for a while, we’re the luckiest clients in the world because we still get Simon in our lives on a regular basis. Love you, Dad!
