Our experience with Simon as our realtor has been nothing short of incredible. From the start of our home buying journey, Simon was proactive in answering any question we had, mitigating every potential problem before it could occur, and giving honest, credible advice that helped make our experience as informed and smooth as possible. At every possible point, we felt that Simon had our best interest in mind. He also (very clearly) enjoys what he does which makes working with him an absolute pleasure. My wife and I cannot express how much we recommend Simon as a realtor as he is truly great at taking care of his clients and helping them find their new home.

Simon was our Real Estate agent back in 1996 when we sold our starter home and found a move-up house in the same year to raise our kids. My children are all grown now and one of my son's wanted to find a place for himself so we engaged Simon again after all these years to help us navigate through the buying process. We wanted someone with extensive experience in Calgary not only because of the challenging market conditions (seller's market) but also because of his knowledge, professionalism and negotiating skills. We looked for several months in the half duplex segment but couldn't find the right property until a single-family home at a reasonable price point came onto the market in the community my son was interested in. We pounced on the opportunity knowing that the longer we waited, the more likely that we would see many competing offers over list price from other potential buyers because of the crazy market conditions in Calgary at the time. Using Simon's strategy, we went in with a list price offer immediately after the showing and asked the sellers to decide quickly. We were able to settle on the list price with conditions and after a home inspection, the deal was finalized. We couldn't be happier with how things turned out so thank you Simon for making my son's dream come true.

Both the sale and purchase went quickly - quicker than I could have hoped for - and were negotiated expertly to get the best deal possible. Simon’s knowledge of where a potential buyer and seller will settle assured me that I couldn’t have sold for more or purchased for less. He made recommendations for home inspectors, document reviewers, and legal experts that all proved to be excellent choices. When he didn’t know someone specifically who could help, Simon would check with other experts who could. I would recommend Simon to anyone buying or selling a home - you’re in good hands!
