I cannot say enough positive things about Scott. We initially chatted about our needs for a new home with him in 2020 during the peak of the pandemic and had steadily worked with him for over 2 years as the market and our financial situation evolved. He's an incredible realtor not only because he is highly knowledgeable, but he also took the time to deeply learn about us as people so he could cater to our needs. As first time home buyers who are new to the Okanagan, we could not have asked for a better realtor. Scott will review the age and quality of every element of the home to share risks and benefits, while being very clear and using accessible language to those who don't have the same "I've been a realtor all my life" vocabulary as he does. He'll walk you through every room in the house (and outside) and point out everything he thinks you should know - big or small. Scott understands market rates and what a fair price is and was able to help my husband and I learn about our responsibilities and managed our expectations. Overall, I feel like Scott has a wealth of knowledge about structural, appliances, potential, neighborhoods, market value, layout, design (I could go on) but what sets him apart is his willingness to share that knowledge and communication skills to describe those things. Scott was always there to offer flexibility and quick responses when we needed to view a home, and in the end was what landed us in our dream house. All of us knew it was the one and jumped on it, and his assistance was essential for us to finalize a deal and close. Overall, Scott is an excellent, high-quality realtor, but what sets him apart as the best is that he's an all around wonderful, kind and caring guy who I'd consider to be a friend at the end of this 2.5 year journey. I thank him for all of the time he spent with us and for helping us to kickstart the next chapter of our lives. :)
