As co-executor we were responsible for selling a home and vacant property behind the home. We interviewed 2 agents and Rachel hands down was our choice! She impressed me with her preparedness during our interview and a marketing plan and strategy that she made clear that quite likely would need to be adjusted the closer we got to listing, based on the ever changing market conditions. Rachel’s local market knowledge and marketing plan combined with her approachable personality, confidence and respect for us was a powerful, winning combination. After our initial meeting we met again and discussed the current market conditions and Rachel nailed down our market strategy. Rachel prepared a timeline for us to work with and milestones to achieve, making the process much easier, not as rushed and much less stressful. In between Rachel communicated with us by phone and email very regularly to see if we needed help, to encourage and support us and provide some comic relief. The end result: We listed on target with our timeline, during a market that saw real estate taking much longer to sell and mostly under asking. I’m proud to say we sold both the house and vacant property for over asking and in only 7 days with a quick closing. Rachel listened to our needs and concerns, was very respectful and was most helpful finding solutions and answering my many questions along the way. It was always a pleasure seeing and talking to Rachel; her calm demeanour, professionalism, hard work and humour settled any anxieties I had. During the closing Rachel continued to be supportive and kept us updated on every step of the process. I’m really grateful my co-executor recommended Rachel and hands down the best decision ever! Rachel and Dave were incredible to work with in my hunt for my first property. They were quick to help me set up a portal and change it whenever needed so I could start scoping out places. Once I found a few that I wanted to check out, appointments were set up super fast. During the visits they were super knowledgeable when it came to thing to look at during the visit, why certain amenities would retain a better value for future resale, etc. It always felt like they had my best interest as their top priority and that was evident when we placed the offer on the property that I had won. We actually went in at a lower amount due to the offer situation and still won so they saved me some money! Rachel was an absolute pleasure to deal with both in selling and purchasing my new home.
