My husband and l were referred by a friend to Mark Nelson three years ago and since then have engaged him on the sale of one home and the purchase of another. On both occasions, we can attest to Mark’s high level of service, competence, and professionalism. We have experience in the market and have employed many realtors over the years, but none have performed to Mark’s exemplary standard. Mark is extremely well-informed and what he doesn’t know, he will quickly find out. His research skills are formidable and he thoroughly dives deep into the background of every property well in advance of each showing. We always went into viewings armed with multiple useful documents such as sales history, seller’s information, building permits, surveys, floor plans, comparables, and the like. This allowed us to be maximally informed even prior to viewings, which set us up for success at the negotiation stage. Mark is also exceedingly helpful beyond the purchase and sale of real estate alone. He has performed comprehensive current market assessments on our behalf, as well as helped us obtain valuable historical information on our property, which was of great assistance to us for a municipal re-zoning application. He has a keen eye for what will attract a buyer and knows how to stage, map, and photograph a house so it shows in its best light and sells at the best price. Mark possesses great communication skills and we find him to be very personable and genuine. He is up-front, insightful, and very detail-oriented. Mark’s work ethic is second to none and the documents he drafts are painstakingly crafted. Mark is capable of handling multiple showings on any given day and can organize himself do so on short notice. He always follows up with clients and is prompt in responding to queries and requests. We have referred several of our friends to Mark, and they have all been impressed with the depth of his knowledge and the quality of his work. We will definitely be contacting him for all our future real estate needs.
