We were interested in finding property on an Island to retire to & we found some realtors more interested in selling the condo here in Vancouver and not that interested in helping find our dream home. Well James is amazing as we did find a place on Cortes Island we loved and because of his great personality he developed a good rapport with the agent who was selling the property who normally does not like dealing with Vancouver agents. James recommended our offer & it was accepted. Our building inspector for the property is coming up & James is going to meet us up there to make sure that everything is good. I would highly recommend as a outstanding agent, human being, fun & made this whole transaction smooth with really no stress. With out James this purchase would not have happened. James is a smart and genuine individual. He was instrumental in my search for a home, offering in depth insight in not just the market information and trends over the many years that he has been entrenched in, but also in matching me with not just a neighborhood, but down to the specific suite, personality and community of the building based on understanding what was important to me and my lifestyle, now and in the future. This sets him apart from the trend of realtors seen in the Lower Mainland of not truly understanding nor caring about the customer and the homes that they hope to own. It is not uncommon to see James in the street chatting with friends, acquaintances, random strangers, and shop owners in various neighborhoods, as he is a friendly individual who really wants to get to know the essence of a neighborhood and its surrounding community members. Seeing this genuine dedication has caused my friends who are looking into getting into the market or looking for a better experience to seek out and ask for additional details of my experience with James so that they too may benefit from his expertise.
