This review expresses our objective assessment of this agency based on our interaction with DiAnne Masson-Yensen and Corrine Campbell over a period spanning September 2019 to now April 2020. We therefore have had enough situations based on which we can provide these comments. Our situation was somewhat different compared to many buyers. We were getting ready to return to Canada from another country and started the process of selling our home there. We knew we wanted to live close to Ottawa but knew nothing about the housing market. So we checked on line with Real Estate Agents regarding possibilities. A few contacted us quickly but we preferred the style of DiAnne who made herself available to listen to what we wanted, by Skype and email, understood that we could not make a decision before arriving in Canada. She knew we wanted to downsize, our preferences and worked around that to send us many possible homes. We however underestimated the market, which is quite aggressive, due to the high demand. With patience she helped and guided us to understand that we would need to rethink a preferred location and cost. We soon realized that her fundamental interest was to make sure that we bought what would be cost effective, taking into account our needs. This leads us now, to comment on her knowledge of the market. We arrived in Canada in January 2020 and immediately contacted her. She was available to explain the nature of the market and the rigours of finding a suitable place to live. Within a few days she demonstrated a good mastery of the market, locations, costs that made us to develop added confidence in her overall approach in guiding us towards our goal. Her approach was to provide ideas and advice, but very delicately, because we had our own wishes. We quickly realized that she was interested in satisfying us but to make sure that we did not make mistakes. I used to tell my wife “This woman knows what we want and will ultimately get it for us”. We also interacted with Corrine Campbell but to a lesser extent. She nevertheless reinforced the feeling we had developed about their Agency. We found her to be honest, pleasant and caring. For example we visited a house with Corrine. We saw several flaws and discussed this with her in situ. That visit was not fruitful but her demeanour made it a fun and learning visit. It was as if we have known her for a very long time due to her openness. In the same vein, we visited a few places with DiAnne and she was similarly interested in finding us a good place at a good price. DiAnne is skilled in presenting options. She did not waste time with properties that were of no interest to us. Not trying to show us homes of little interest saved time and allowed us to concentrate on those with a potential. She skillfully steered us to a home that was pleasant and which was offered at a reasonable price. We appreciated her ability to be direct but pleasant and not at all pushy. We liked her willingness and availability but being aware of this we tried not to take advantage of these traits. We were late once for about 15 minutes for a viewing, due to car problems, and felt badly because we were conscious of her time and how she tried to please her clients. Did we get what we wanted? Yes, and thanks to her because she knew what we wanted and was not just interested in selling any property to us. We are grateful for her professionalism, patience, modesty, understanding, experience and sensitivity. These words are not used lightly. She and her colleague made the difficult task of buying a house a very pleasant one, despite the market, which can provide the buyer with unexpected and unpleasant experiences. The service provided by Impact has been unquestionably excellent. Would we use them again. YES. In fact we are thinking of selling a property and guess who we will go to? These two ladies are truly the dynamic duo! Upon meeting Corinne and DiAnne I felt it was a great match. In discussion about areas in Ottawa, it was clear that both ladies had the knowledge. They were able to provide recommendations in value, safety and location to amenities to say the least. During the duration of my 2 year home search I did not feel pressured to buy which is something very important. As soon as there was a home available in the ideal area, I was immediately notified. Corinne and DiAnne made their best suggestion in how to offer based on the current market, which at that time involved multiple bidding wars, and it was a successful purchase upon first offer. However it did not stop there, Corinne and DiAnne continued to be available even after the purchase, assisting with the next steps that every first-time home buyer would have questions about. I feel this would extend to anyone they work with. I would highly recommend these ladies and I hope to continue this relationship with them. They are kind, professional and experienced. While I have bought now, I would recommend them to friends and family and should I sell, I will choose them!

Corrine and Dianne are great real estate agents to work with. Dianne helped us through the whole process and was always ready to provide the information we need prior to checking and negotiating the closing of the house of our dream, including the sale of our own house. They were both hands-on, truthful, laid all the angles of the negotiation process and most of all, fun to be with. They made the transition easy for us. We couldn’t imagine selling and buying a house without Dianne and Corrine.
