Dawna was very knowledgeable of the real estate buy and sell process. She explained the details to me in a clear and concise manner. In addition she recognized the emotional impact this process had for me and was very understanding. I would strongly recommend her as a real estate agent.

I had lived in my house for 13 Years after coming back fro Newfoundland and the agent who I dealt with had retired, and herefore since I now wanted to sell I chose a Remax publication that had been delivered by mail and Dawna Candelora was detailed on it. I liked her presentation and asked her to visit. After her complete review of the house made some suggestions on minor comments on decorating that needed repair before considering selling. Dawna has a particular manner that makes you feel comfortable but what I liked best was that there was no pressure to accept her as an agent, in comparison to some salesman tricks. After I had made the decorating repairs I called Dawna back and we arrived at a sale price she considered in line with the current market and location of the property. After completing the necessary paperwork a suitable date for listing the house on the market was agreed upon. Before the outside agents came to review the house Dawna made some subtle changes in location of ornaments and other items in the house. I could easily see that she was well experienced in house presentation which I really liked and agreed with. Once the house was listed we had several offers tendered and within 24 hours we were sitting down to review the offers. This was before the market took off after the pandemic and of course some early offers had come in fishing for a cheaper sale and Dawna with her experience rejected them. We then arrived at an offer which met our sale price and we agreed to accept it. All within 24 hours! .

The sale of our home in Timberlea, NS was a challenge. My wife and I had been transferred to Ontario and we were having a difficult time selling our property. The agent we had previous to Dawna seemed more interested in low-balling us into selling him the home, than actually selling the property. Needless to say he was fired and we contacted Dawna. From the start of our conversations, Dawna was very professional and confident. She understood our predicament and got to work on solving the problems. She took ownership of the situation and found us a buyer quickly. Dawna is honest and trustworthy, qualities that seem hard to come bye in this day and age. We highly recommend Dawna Candelora.
