<p>Had help purchasing a funky 900+ sq feet loft-style condo at the border of Victoria's Chinatown with Dallas as my buying agent. Nice guy... found him when I needed help looking at other condos in Vic-West. The Remax assistant Courtnay Thalrose was a huge asset in my home search... she found the listing as soon as it hit the public MLS database and Dallas took care of the rest. In this current market, a buyer needs all the help she can get to pounce on new listings when they are available... well-priced units don't last long in Victoria. Dallas was easily available by phone/email/text and got all my questions answered quickly. Made himself available to any showing times I needed. I met him for the 1st time on a Wednesday and I had an accepted offer in place on Sunday. If you need a mortgage broker, ask Dallas for Karen Millington's contact information... she'll have you approved with papers signed off by the bank in less than 12 hours.</p>

<p><br /> Dallas was pretty much sent down from heaven to help us buy a home. We had a brand new baby and were moving from Vancouver to Victoria, so not available to just run to any showing for lots of reasons. Dallas lined up anything we wanted to see at times that worked for us, and also made lots of good suggestions as we went. He made a suggestion that we passed on at first, and then regretted passing because he was totally right, it was a perfect fit. Lo and behold it came back on the market and Dallas jumped faster than anyone else, and even went to view it for us first when we couldn't make it to town that quickly. He gave us honest and straightforward advice (and pep talks!) as we went, and in the end we got the place we really wanted and needed at a great price. It wasn't super straightforward as a purchase (it had renters for example) but Dallas was able to navigate all of that with us and for us so we felt like we knew exactly what our obligations and right were. On top of all this he was prompt, thorough, never ever rushed, and really genuinely interested in understanding our needs and getting not just any place but the right place for us. He was truly invested in our best interests, and went above and beyond with communication, advice, and even insight on moving to Vic and what to know. The market was insane that month, inventory was crazy low, and we were only 2nd time buyers, so by no means experienced. I could not have been happier to have Dallas on our team, we were going through a crazy season of life (new baby, moving) and he calmed the waters when we really could have found ourselves struggling to keep up. We will be referring any and all of our friends to him in the Victoria area!</p>

<p><br /> Dallas is very customer focused and professional. He always spoke to us in a respectful manner and went the extra mile to ensure we were looked after i.e. he had a contractor come into a property we were interested in to search for an underground oil tank on his own volition and set-up home inspections for us as part of our due diligence. <p>My husband and I are immigrants. We didn't know a lot of things about buying a property. We misunderstood things because of the language barrier. Dallas was there for us - patiently answering questions, explaining things we didn't understand. He even drove several times, late at night to help us finish our paper work! Who will do that?<br /> We felt CARED FOR during the whole process. There were tough times and we both wanted to stop and give-up - just forget the whole thing! Dallas encouraged us, stood with us, not only offering options but actually did practical things to help us.<br /> I work in the community health sector on a tough 24-hr-shift, 4-5 days in a row. Dallas sought me where I was assigned, went over paper work, step by step and helped me finish them. I had no time during the day to contact people like inspectors, brokers or lawyers. He did all the appointments for us, kept us connected with these people. The best part of it- these guys were competent ones! Before and after we moved in, he made sure that we got everything we needed. He appeared in person to help, not over the phone. Without Dallas' competence, honesty & caring attitude, we would have given up buying a property!</p>
