When we first started exploring agents, it was very apparent as a first time home buyer how professional Amanda was. If you want someone that puts the client first, she’s the one. It’s the small things like standing with us after looking at a property and doing a quick debrief of what we liked and didn’t like instead of just walking to the car to drive to the next property OR even telling us about the house, what she would look for (even as we’re looking inside), the market in the area and cool tidbits we should be looking for when purchasing a home— All in our best interest, and never to push. Amanda listened to what we wanted and helped us to choose properties that matched. When we did want to explore other types of properties, she allowed us to look and always checked in with us to see if it still aligned with our goals. Always, always, ALWAYS there for us when we needed her throughout the whole process and always checking in to see that we’re okay. Amazing personality and a big heart. Choose her, you won’t regret.

Amanda is professional, informed and sets the bar so high for other agents that I am afraid nothing short of "exceptional" will ever cut it again from a real estate agent. I bought a house with Amanda as my agent and it is a good thing she was there to steer me in this journey: I told her my life situation, my kids needs and what I was looking for but it is pretty hard to filter things out when looking online. Amanda was patient and professionally insistent to show me options that she believed would suit my needs. Alas, she was wonderfully correct and I am happy I listened to her and went to look at what she thought would suit my needs, location and budget. She communicated very well, on time, never pushy, and she applied the right amount of "urgency" when needed. The biggest thing that surprised me was how well she listened - so I guess the lesson here is to be honest and upfront about what you want. I was looking for a small renovated house with 3 bedrooms in a very specific neighbourhood and a limited timeframe and Amanda helped me filter out unsuitable houses rapidly. She as well guided me very well in the inspection and offer phase, she knew I had a target budget and negotiated inside that budget. When I took possession of the house she was super again, I felt like I bought a million dollar mansion and definitely felt good about my decision and the whole process. I would say do be honest about what you want and make a short list of important things - I had 3-4 items "must-haves" and she matched them all. So, key points: know what you want, Amanda really listens, then trust her, that's why you are hiring her. Thank you Amanda for helping me find a great home.
