Allison is a superstar realtor. She went above and beyond to guide us in purchasing our forever home. We definitely gave Allison a run for her money. We both come in with finance and mortgage backgrounds with a long lists of must haves and a tight budget. One of Allison’s many superpowers is how knowledgeable she is. She always have information about almost everything. And she LISTENS. I liked that she always asked us “so what didn’t you like about this property? Or what did you like about that house? Our experience with Allison was GREAT. She is a professional. Friendly, kind, genuine which is really rare and refreshing in a sales business. We never felt pressured. Her best advice to me was to make sure we buy our home in our desired neighborhood because you can renovate and change a house but you cannot just change the neighborhood. My fiancé and I used Allison to help us purchase our first home together. She was very easy to talk to and connect with whenever we had questions. We really enjoyed working with Allison for our first time buying a home! She was recommended to me by one of my coworkers who had worked with multiple realtors in Edmonton in the past for buying and selling homes, and she particularly liked working with Allison. Allison was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She took the time to walk us through the different steps to buying a home, options in our price range, considerations for homes built in different years, and more. By the time we were pre-approved and ready to start looking, we had a pretty good idea of what we could expect in our price range (townhomes, duplexes, and some older single-family homes) and things to look for. We saw several properties on our first day out looking, including all three different property types we were considering, and ended up putting in an offer on a single family home in one of our top desired neighborhoods! We knew single family homes that were in good condition, in our price range, and in our desired neighborhoods were few and far between based on watching the market for a few months, so this was a rare opportunity and we were able to see the place within the first 24 hours of showings. We ended up competing with another offer on the house, and Allison was really on it with communicating with us and the seller agent throughout the process. We ended up beating out an unconditional offer, in part due to Allison's advising and adjusting the offer price, but also due to Allison's communication with the seller agent. We were really pleased to get through the home buying process smoothly, and are really grateful that we were able to get a SFH in a great area. Would definitely work with Allison again!
