I first met Adrian at a real estate weekend event and looking back, I’m so happy and grateful we met as he’s been a huge part of my success in 2019! Over the past 7 months, I’ve really enjoyed working with him and he’s helped me purchase 3 strong cash-flow positive properties. He’s been incredibly helpful every step of the way, from educating me about the Edmonton market, carrying out the transaction smoothly, and providing valuable connections which have helped me manage my properties well. Before we began seeing properties, Adrian took time to explain which areas of Edmonton were desirable, the upcoming LRT projects, which areas had ideal tenant profiles, and the approximate market rents in each neighbourhood. While we were looking at properties, he showed me how to look at the condition of a property to determine if there were any outstanding maintenance items or potential issues that may result in major expenses down the road. His expertise as an investor gave me confidence about what to look for in a property in order to find a strong performing investment. Throughout our interactions, Adrian has been easy to work with and he has always provided me with honest advice that I know I can trust. His analyses have been accurate and reliable, and I can attest that the properties I’ve purchased are performing similarly to the proformas. As well, Adrian and the Mogul team have continued to be a phenomenal resource when it comes to finding quality skilled trades people and professionals to help with the upkeep of the properties. It’s been so reassuring to know that they can provide an answer to any question I have, and it’s made the process of investing in an out-of-town city much more accessible and easier than I thought it would be! When I first met Adrian he struck me immediately as very friendly and approachable. As I was looking for a rental property, we sat down and discussed various areas of the city and the pros and cons of each one. Starting off this way helped me feel comfortable going forward. All throughout the process Adrian had, or would find, answers for the MANY questions I had and was ALWAYS patient and willing to put in the time to help me understand. Adrian has a vast amount of knowledge in the real estate arena and works with a very experienced team he can draw on if needed. This isn't the first rental property I've purchased but with Adrian it was the easiest. I wish I would have found him right at the beginning and saved myself a head full of grey hairs!
