Selling a home is stressful at the best of times. Selling a home during a pandemic is even more stressful as everything is online and at arm’s length: the listing, the offers, the contract. Laura’s expertise and professionalism eased the stress and made the whole process smooth and easy. Laura spent the most time of all the realtors on the market evaluation “walk through” with me. She didn’t rush, and she really looked closely at our home. She followed COVID-19 protocol completely and put me at ease. Laura asked questions, and took notes. She was so kind and so intuitive. Laura really listened to us. We needed a selling price that would enable us to purchase a home without adding on a new mortgage as we are both retired now; we wanted to downsize, but not into a condo or townhouse. Laura priced our home exactly right, and it sold quickly for the full asking price. Laura went through the offer with us slowly and carefully, step by step, clause by clause, making sure we understood everything. She pointed out things we needed to be aware of, suggested conditions that would benefit and protect us and generally made the sale stress-free and easy. It was amazing how she was really looking out for us the entire time, all the while not rushing, being patient and never pushy. She also has a lovely sense of humour, which was greatly appreciated when things became overwhelming and stressful. We can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Laura. She is knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy, kind and thoughtful. Every question or concern we had, no matter how small or silly, Laura handled with expertise and kindness.
