About Jim Saunders
Real estate has been Jim’s life since 1983. Raised and schooled in Lethbridge, Jim graduated from high school at LCI, and immediately embarked on an entrepreneurial lifestyle, starting several business ventures that financed his education at the University of Lethbridge and paved the way for a career in Real Estate.
In his first year as a Realtor, Jim was awarded “Rookie of the Year”. He knew he’d found his passion and he’s never looked back.
Jim recognized early that there was a lot to learn about the industry, and he wanted to be involved, and so he volunteered his time.
Jim is a Past President of the Alberta Real Estate Association, a Past President of the Lethbridge and District Association of Realtors, and is the Past Chair of the Albert Real Estate Foundation.
He is currently enjoying his 41th year in the real estate industry in Lethbridge, with 38 of those years at RE/MAX. Jim has been recognized by his office as the "RE/MAX Realtor of the Year" several times in his career and consistently as one of the office’s Top Producers.
But what Jim is really known for is the care and attention to detail he provides his clients, and his exceptional negotiating skills. If you ask Jim what is the most rewarding thing in real estate, his answer hasn’t changed. “I just love handing the keys to a first home buyer and sharing in their excitement!”
Jim and his wife Katie have been married for 38 years, and with her real estate background she continues to play an integral part in his career, (although she prefers her role as grandmother to their 3 grandsons). The family loves the outdoors and keeping active, their favorite activities being golf, skiing, boating, or just hanging out at the lake.
Whether buying or selling, when you need a realtor to go that "extra mile" you can always count on Jim.
