Jacki was a pleasure to work with in selling my home. She is very personable, easy to talk to, ensures you understand how things work, efficient in negotiations and with all the paperwork related to selling/buying, etc. Working with Jacki made the experience so much easier and helped to reduce the stress.

I worked with Jacki Lam Real Estate and her team for both buying and selling of our house and it was the best decision. From our very 1st conversations with Jacki and Chester it was clear that they had an intimate understanding of real estate, the process and plenty of experience in all types of markets. They were able to guide us through the transactions with ease and always answered our questions clearly and patiently. When buying our new home they pointed out many things that we didn't even think of. They truly wanted us to find a house we loved, not just to make a sale. They were concerned that we also made a good investment for the future and our family. As you know it was a crazy market this past year (2021-2022) but we never felt rushed by Jacki and Chester. For every house we looked at they were able to estimate within 1-2 % what it would sell for. It was actually very impressive. Most importantly it demonstrated they are experts in the field. They were always one step ahead, making sure we had all the correct information to help us make an informed decision. As for selling our house that was a more stressful situation since we were unfortunately heading into a balanced market. But they helped us navigate this uncertainty by providing us with supporting data for all of their advice as well doing their best to generate Interest in our house. They worked hard to connect with other agents to get as much feedback as possible from people who viewed our house so that we knew what to improve on if we could. They kept us in the loop every step of the way and spared no expense to make sure we had the best exposure; such as staging, virtual tours, feature sheets, open houses, etc. So much can be said about their expertise, but what really stood out was their kindness and empathy in understanding that this was a very difficult journey and sometimes we needed a lot of encouragement to make a decision. Jacki is very good at bringing you the information, comparables and helping you look at things from different perspectives. This made us feel good about our decisions. It's definitely a trait that comes from good people. I always felt that they had my best interest at heart. If you choose Jacki Lam Real Estate you won't be disappointed.

An excellent real estate agent, extremely helphul, and reliable through the whole process. Jacki help us to generate interest from buyers, which was enormous help, and home was sold in eight days for abot asking price.

JACKI is an excellent broker. She gave me some advices for decorating my house. She is very patient to explain everything to me, because I am a foreigner and can’t speak English well. It’s lucky to have her as my house broker.

Jacki was absolutely amazing! Although I have several friends who are real-estate agents and they were all willing to help, I was selling a matrimonial home with my ex, so we'd decided to interview and find an agent who we don't have any relationships with. We'd interviewed 5 agents/brokers, they were all good at presenting the market data analysis, go to market strategy and etc., but frankly they were saying the same things for over 1 hour per meeting. So about 10 min into these meetings, I was more interested in their fancy gadgets that they were using to present the materials lol And then I met Jacki.. she came into the house and first looked around the place and gave us a couple of tips and information that I haven't heard before but yet important. We set down to discuss the details, by this time I was expecting her to pull out her gadgets, instead she pulled out a binder with printed materials, but she didn't open it. Jacki explained all the key points in about 5 min without referring to any printouts/screen and then we had an open discussion for about 10 min. Once we were done discussing, she asked us if we would like for her to go over anything else and review the deck she prepared, we'd politely declined her offer because she already explained everything and covered all of our inquiries during our 15 min conversation. After all the interviews, we'd compared pros and cons of each agent and Jacki was at the top, but only downside was that her commission rate was the highest. So I explained the situation to Jacki and she was able to provide a discount, but her rate was still slightly higher than the rest. When you are selling a home, even if it's a small % difference, it's a significant amount. But we decided to sign with Jacki anyway. I think that decision was one of the best decisions I'd made in awhile. Because she was always professional and responsive, and an amazing negotiator. She was able to get more than what we'd discussed as the maximum sell price during the bully offer negotiating process; finally sold over asking price at 126%. BTW we set the listing price at a going price, not lowball #. She also helped to mitigate disagreements between a divorced couple, sorry Jacki~. :) Since I was so impressed with her work, I asked Jacki to help me find a new home instead of asking one of my friends. Jacki had introduced me to Chester and they did an equally impressive job of finding a new home for me and my kids. On top of that they helped me with leasing out the basement apartment. Chester was also a great agent; very informative, professional, polite and always willing to help with a situation. I am so thankful to have met such great people and phenomenal real-estate agents/broker. I absolutely recommend Jacki and her team!*6
