Overall, I had a great experience. As a first time home buyer looking to purchase a condo, I used David Parnell as the buying agent. He was great in many ways, including the following: * David was helpful in guiding me through the steps of the condo buying process. He helped to simplify a somewhat complicated procedure. * When viewing units, David was able to spot many finer details which the majority of clients would not notice. He identified components which could result in an unexpected expense in the future. He could also make good estimates of a unit's value based on these details, indicating if a unit is undervalued or overvalued. * David cares about finding a good home for his clients. He is not looking to make a sale as fast as possible. If he doesn't like a unit, he will let you know. He also suggests viewing enough listings so that you have sufficient knowledge of the housing market and can make better decisions. * David communicated with other parties (eg. selling agents, mortgage specialists) in an effective and efficient manner to ensure that time sensitive actions were completed quickly. When I expressed an interest in making an offer, David quickly got in contact with the selling agent and I was able to make the offer. Heads up that sometimes, he may take a bit longer to respond to your questions if he is busy with another client. * Talking with David was a pleasant experience as he is quite friendly. Working with David helped me to find a good condo unit in a reasonable amount of time. If I buy another condo or house in the future, I would be happy to use him again.
