We knew we needed an agent with patience and some decorating skills. I knew I could decorate but got stumped on a room or two. Taryn not only staged our house but did a much better job than what I could ever dream to do. Our house now matched the price we wanted! But the real test was trying to find a home for a triple A type personality (moi) and my off-planet husband who takes an hour to choose socks to wear in the morning. Taryn wasn’t pushy and ridiculously patient while we searched for our forever home. Despite our personalities she navigated around me and my hubby expertly. We found a house that we knew we couldn’t move out of! Then the best thing happened...even though there were 105 (no joke) houses for sale in our neighbourhood- many of them never lived in... we sold our house for almost the exact price we were hoping for and were the only house that sold that month for the whole area. We thought we would have 2 mortgages for at least a year. Nope! Just one month! Taryn is amazing and easily the most solid recommendation I could ever give another person/family/couple to use. Pressure free success!

Having Taryn Berndt help us find and buy our first home made the process extremely easy, painless, stress free, and successful. After perusing the market for rural homes just outside of Edmonton, we contacted Taryn with a house of interest between Christmas and New Years. Despite the busy time of year, she quickly responded and got the process rolling for us. After discussing things and viewing the home, she then found and showed us multiple other homes within the same area to compare and give us an idea of what else was available. Thanks to Taryn’s great communication and willingness to work around our hectic schedules, within only two weeks we had viewed numerous homes and were ready to write an offer. Despite only being able to meet us very late one evening, Taryn very willingly did so to get our offer in as soon as possible. Following the submission of our offer Taryn diligently kept us informed and updated on the process, resulting in us agreeing to terms for the house within less than 48 hours. Her vast number of contacts within the industry (e.g., real estate lawyers, mortgage specialists, etc.) then came in handy before the closing date was reached. Without Taryn’s expert help, understanding, commitment to service, and availability the process of buying our first, let alone any home, would not have been as pleasurable and stress free as we experienced.
