Steve demonstrated an excellent understanding of the local housing market in the area of Orleans. He clearly communicated at all times and was able to assist with any questions I had in a timely fashion. As a client, I was extremely impressed with his background knowledge and engaging personality. By hiring a professional photographer and stager, Steve ensured that the house could be presented in the best possible way. As is a strong advocate for his clients, Steve was able to succesfully sell my home for full asking price. this was our third transaction with Steve in two years and every time he exceeded our expectations. The last one was exceptionally smooth since we were not even in town during the showings and sale. Steve expertly set up the sale for competing offers and and the sale price exceeded our expectations by far. Steve then referred us to an excellent real estate agent at our new location in another province.

I really enjoyed working with Steve to purchase a townhome in the West end of Ottawa. I was particular about many aspects of the home and Steve was patient as we reviewed many options. It really did feel like he wanted me to find everything I wanted, and he was happy to explain processes and provide advice when I had questions. Steve was very responsive throughout the months-long process and was able to obtain a quicker closing date after my offer was accepted, as he knew it was important to me. I also found the system/technology that Hamre uses to be intuitive. If you choose Hamre for your real estate needs, I believe you will be very happy!

Steve Hamre has been our agent a few times. He has a great understanding of what we are looking for. This purchase was a bit different, with COVID. However, Steve did a great job helping us through the process. The market in Ottawa is hot and we are currently living outside the Province, so we had to buy sight unseen. Steve went to the house, did a video chat, and walked us through. He took the time to show us the details so we could feel comfortable with our purchase. After, he did a great job negotiating and coordinating our purchase agreement. That was not the end of the Hamre Teams services though! Steve has since helped find a lawyer and mortgage broker who I am very happy with. They have been in business a long time, and they KNOW Ottawa!

Steve was extremely knowledgeable about the Ottawa market and the houses we were viewing. Steve was always able to make time for showings or answering any of the questions I had. I don’t believe I would be a homeowner today without Steve’s guidance. It was a pleasure working with Steve and I’m excited to work with him again in the future on other properties.
