Mavelina is professional and very accommodating. The sale was so stress free and quick. Being a very complicated property and situation. My wife and I were amazed at the whole process being so easy!

Working with Mavelina on my journey was a very good experience. Mavelina and i got together early in my journey, first needing to see what the market was, she set me up with a site so i could review the market and determine what i needed for savings and financing. This gave me an opportunity to be ready. She was very accommodating in allowing me to get what i needed together. When it came time to action the purchase, WOW, so professional and knowledgeable. We found a perfect place and got a great deal on the property, every step of the way Mavelina was engaged, communicative and knowledgeable on the market, rules and what needed to be done. As a busy professional it was so nice to work with another professional, to be proficient and effective in such a major transactional project.

Mavelina made my first home buying experience a wonderful one! She always made herself available to answer my millions of questions throughout the process! She was very thorough in explaining everything to me as a first time home buyer and went above and beyond for us when it came to sealing the deal☺️

Mavelina not only helped us sell our house and downsize to a condo, but she did it during Covid. She helped us with staging suggestions, set up a virtual tour to help sell our house during a difficult time. She also worked with us to negotiate with the builder of our condo.

Mavelina Thody became my listing realtor for my detached house in SE Calgary. I know a few people who have made real estate transactions with Mavelina and so when I asked who to approach for my sale, they all suggested Mavelina. First step was to see the property and see where we fell in the community as far as comparable. Mavelina actually as it turns out lives in the same area I sold in and thus was truly a remarkable resource and knowledgable. She was pleasant to deal with while also being realistic as to what needed to be addressed prior to listing photos and showings commenced. I was on a brutally swift timeline and Mavelina worked with that. From initial talk to listing was within 2 weeks. We ended up shelving the listing to get a renovation job done that we all knew needed to get done and the house sold for exactly what our goal was on the first viewing once the listing went hot again. When we saw the photos and the listing on MLS with Mavelina's write up it became even more clear that this woman truly knows how to portray the dream of what her listings can be to "you and your family" and her standards drive her to work with only the best. After the sale, the buyers lender had some pretty unique requests as far as pending insurance work went - new experience for us all. I found myself a touch stressed out but Mavelina assured my partner and I that this is normal stuff in home sales and not to worry, she was correct. We got the price we wanted, the possession date we wanted and the experience was pure ease and glory.

We went with Mavelina Thody as our agent for our purchase of a detached home in Calgary, AB. Mavelina came highly recommended and the experience supported this. We met a few times with her to align what we wanted with our price ranges and what areas of the city would likely provide us with the highest chances of find all in one package. We put in a total of 4 offers before we were accepted on the house we ended up buying. Throughout the process Mavelina gave us solid advice on how to make an offer in Calgary's red hot market. Sadly the first few houses didn't work out due inspection clauses and being outbid by developers with deeper pockets. On the day we found our forever home, we were sitting with Mavelina planning out next round of viewings and just felt that "the one" would be listed soon.. and bam, there it was - right in out price range and right in the area we wanted the most. Mavelina was on the ball and we were in to see the property within 30 minutes of the listing going live. We instantly knew that this was the place for us.. but the listing suggested that "offers would be reviewed at a later date".. seems to be the trend in Calgary these days. I knew this wasn't ideal... . so we asked Mavelina to make an offer they couldn't delay reviewing. By that night, the offer had been accepted for only 10K over list price... we would have gone higher though. Mavelina worked her magic and we didn't have to pay more than we did - she suggested we write a personal note to the buyers expressing why this property was so perfect for our family and not surprisingly it worked. She knew that in this tight nit community the "personal touch" makes the difference, and wow was she correct. On a personal note, I feel like Mavelina is a person I will be dealing with again soon, perhaps for a second property. She is so delightful to speak with and instantly she a life long friend - unlike the cold business only experiences we've had in the past. Truly a rewarding experience and it's clearly obvious why that was, a deep thanks to Mavelina for making this a memorable experience
