Katayoon was absolutely amazing throughout our entire journey! We had a fast, wild and enjoyable ride, and she was there for us every step of the way. She's such a kind and thoughtful person, and always happy to help us with any questions we had. Her experience in understanding the Vancouver market and how to negotiate and make the right move were key to our success. Katayoon and Derek were incredible during the whole process, and they also recommended a great team to work with, including contractors, mortgage brokers, etc. I'm glad our friends recommended Katayoon to us, and we're already singing her praises to anyone who asks us about our experience. :)

Katayoon was our first realtor for our first property purchase in Vancouver. She was recommended to us by a friend and we really feel that we lucked out! All of our feedback is glowing. 

Entering the market in Vancouver is scary. Because of this, Katayoon puts lots of time and energy into educating her clients to ensure they have the knowledge to make informed decisions. She initially set up a call with us so that we could better understand the market, neighbourhood resilience, and other factors that are important when buying a home. She continued to educate us, and empower us with information, throughout the home search process.

When searching for places, Katayoon diligently took our preferences into account and speedily alerted us if anything new came on the market that fit our needs. She totally got that we were both looking for a home and an investment. She also understood our personalities and what properties might fit us. She’d also respond within minutes when we sent questions about properties that we were looking at online. Not only that, but she and Derek would also arrange viewings and be there to view properties with us at a moment’s notice. As we toured homes, Katayoon would offer insights on the neighbourhood and envision the potential in the property, while Derek would take a look at the structure and offer ideas on improvements. They’re such a great team! And Katayoon has a great eye - her artistic talents and creative spirit are an asset to her clients. Throughout the offer and purchase process, Katayoon was terrific in terms of communications and negotiations. She kept us informed every step of the way, while letting us know what was likely to happen next. This felt so valuable throughout what is a daunting process. She definitely fought for us. And she clearly knows her stuff. Even after the purchase, both Katayoon and Derek would visit and give ideas on furnishings or decor that would help turn our apartment into a home.

Ultimately, Katayoon and Derek felt like friends. They added fun and excitement to what could have been an overwhelming process. We felt like we could ask them anything - no question too silly or small. We knew we could trust them to have our best interests at heart, and that they’d find us the right home at the right price.

Katayoon is the perfect mix of knowledgeable, personable, and a wildly skilled negotiator. That space became my beautiful home that I grew as a person in, and as I became ready for a change, Katayoon walked me through this again. At the open house, we walked in, and I knew it was the one! We competed with multiple offers, and her strong relationships and professionalism landed it for me!! We had to quickly shift to selling my current place, and she mapped out step by step how to get ready for showings, including staging. Everything was perfect with a big turnout at the open houses. We closed the deal with eight offers! EIGHT OFFERS in this market? And she negotiated a price that I was too afraid to even hope for! Everything about buying a new home is personal, and I feel so lucky to have Katayoon as a lifelong friend through this. I have recommended Katayoon to countless friends, and at times, I'll recommend Katayoon to someone and they will say something about how they think they have found an agent already, and I always smirk knowing they will come back and ask for her contact. I don't know why anyone would willing go through this process without Katayoon in their corner.
