Moving house can be an anxious affair. Such was the predicament I found myself in when entertaining thoughts of of relocating back to the Okanagan. My cousin had recently moved within the Kelowna area so I hoped to use her realtor. However she suggested a personal friend, Kale Blakely. She mentioned Kale was young and had nominal experience; I was dubious, but… We began corresponding shortly before Christmas with Kale providing me with a list of potential properties in the Kelowna area. He carefully curated listings within my budget, we’d collaborate daily by phone and/or text and by mid-February had a list of twelve exciting listings and I was ready to meet Kale. Those twelve listings weren’t nearly as promising as I’d hoped but Kale sure was! Right away, Kale impressed me with his dynamism. He’s upbeat, positive with a quick sense of humour. He is self-motivated, organized and resourceful. I liked him enormously and my previous skepticism rapidly dissipated. Kale is definitely on his way up. He exhibited an excellent, professional work ethic much appreciated in a novice. He advised me of the best course of action, particularly when negotiating for the dream home (yes, we found it!) and when uncertain, he sought counsel. Kale ensured every T was crossed and every I dotted. He followed through on every painstaking detail before I found my home, during the transaction and after the possession date.
