Eric Hudz was instrumental in helping me sell my Vancouver home so I could relocate to Langley. He is personable, approachable, and extremely knowledgeable. One of the many things I admired about Eric was his ability to recognize if he needed to research or ask questions to enable him to obtain the best price on my property, he did not hesitate. Eric was chosen for us by our lead realtor, who was not able to be in Vancouver during our house search. There were some initial back-and-forth as we worked with Eric to establish our criteria and requirements. Eric was attentive, and never hesitated to bring up any issues that might have caused problems down the road. He solicited our feedback often, and was open to our recommendations and opinions. For example, we initially disagreed on the listing price of our condominium. While Eric provided market research and used his experience with other neighbourhoods to justify the price, we, as the owners, have seen activities in our condo that led us to believe our price could be higher. Eric paid attention to the movement of inventory, and in the end, was able to increase our list price and got us the value we needed out of our sale. Similarly, with the purchase of our single-family-home, Eric provided us a comp in the area, but was completely open to what we felt the price should be in terms of our affordability and our own read of neighbourhood. Eric never pushed his perspective, but always offered his opinion so we could make the decision on our own. The whole process of buying and selling took about 4 months. There were ups and downs, but they were all mitigated by Eric's professionalism and responsiveness. We offered on 3 houses. One of those offers fell through because we had a miscommunication with our mortgage broker. Eric mediated that miscommunication. Even after we took possession of the house we purchased, Eric's role didn't end. There were issues that were not on the disclosure and with the possession, and Eric worked with the selling realtor to get us fair compensation. We felt that Eric always took our needs as priority. He always made sure we were happy. At the end of the day, we could count on Eric to be our collaborator. This market is so crazy, we really needed a reliable voice of reason because emotions and factors outside our control could spiral even the most simplest decisions beyond reason. Eric was that voice reason, and we would happily use Eric again. We would highly recommend Eric to anyone looking to buy/sell in this market. Thanks, Eric.
