I was notbprivy to all of the details and transactions but for those I wax involved with, I found Curtus to be excellent. Curtus was incredibly helpful during our house hunting journey. My partner and I were both excited and nervous about being first time home-buyers, so we asked around our friend group of folks who bought homes. And the name given to us by our most trusted friends was Curtus Collins. So we reached out and almost as soon as we were talking, I felt at ease about the process. Curtus began by laying out the process, what to expect, preparing us for the work and emotions we would feel, and about what everyone involved in the process does. He made it clear what our next steps were at every stage and what it was for. When we had questions, he was only a text away and responded with something helpful very quickly. Curtus really shined during the house viewings we went on. He had a great eye for the things you need to deal with as a homeowner when viewing prospective homes. Whether it was big things like electrical panel type, foundation issues, and the roof, to little things like which way the light came in or how the plugs looked, Curtus called them out to us. I remember one moment when we were at a property that he noticed that the wood flooring faced the wrong way between rooms and created an unpleasant pattern. That kind of eye for details made me trust his judgement. He had plenty of wisdom to share for us as first timers. His advice to us was that "we needed at least one or two failed offers to really get into the process and take it seriously." He was right! By the third offer, I felt like I knew what a good offer looked like and what we wanted to put an offer on. When we found The One, Curtus was with us every step of the way. From placing the offer, the acceptance, the home inspection, the counter offer, the lawyers, and finally to possession, Curtus was reliable, helpful, and always on our side. There's no doubt in my mind that we never would have made it here without his help. If I had to do the process all over again, 100% I would reach out to Curtus!
