Chris was recommended through a friend. As we were new to Calgary, we needed someone with local knowledge and a lot of patience to show us around. We have been all over the city, looking at dozens of properties. Chris managed to set up many consecutive showings in a single day which allowed for a very efficient orientation of the city. Once we had a better idea of the neighborhoods we refined our search. During the week we worked on a list of available properties, and set up the viewings over the weekend. Chris' knowledge of properties in general (including assessing building quality, potential re-sale value etc.) helped us to make our decision. He gave honest advice and wasn't just talking along with us to please us, he gave us real advice. During the negotations, we went back and forth a few times with the sellers and some solid advice was given by Chris on contractual terms that were foreign to us (as first-time home buyers). This saved us money down the road as Chris ensured all the proper documentation (such as the RPR report) was in the sellers scope. After an conditional offer was accepted, we used the (by Chris recommended) Home Inspector and Lawyer to finalize the deal. We were impressed with his connections as they were knowledge, readily available and affordable as compared to other quotes we received. We are very happy with Chris his service. He is an all-around good-guy, knowledgeable and he has been around. He knows the right people and really went above and beyond to find our new home. I would recommend Chris to anyone if you are looking for your new home in Calgary and want some solid and honest advice.
