<p>Chris was SO helpful! As a first time home buyer, the process can be overwhelming as you're trying to make decisions while learning about the home buying process for the first time. Chris helped me every step of the way and took the time to explain the process to me in a way that I could understand. He provided with me great suggestions and advice at each of my decision points. Throughout the entire process, he kept me in the loop with what was coming next, what to expect and what to do to prepare for the next step. If there something he didn't know off-hand (which rarely happened), he was quick to find an answer for me. He provided contacts for every service I needed for purchasing and moving into a new place - from recommended home inspection services to locksmiths and floor refinishing. He made seemingly daunting tasks, easy and effortless. I was beyond impressed with the services provided by each of his recommended contacts.</p> <p>He was SO knowledgeable about the property I bought - he knew all the ins and outs of the apartment building and the unit. A friend recommended Chris Zaharko after purchasing a home with him. I contacted him and he was immediately responsive, requesting my preferred communication method (email, telephone or text) and advising me that he was available any time. I'm a difficult client and I warned Chris that my number one priority was viewing properties immediately after finding them on the MLS. I was actually shocked about how responsive he was. I would send Chris a listing that I wanted to view and he would make arrangements to see it the same day. This happened on almost 10 different occasions. It was responsible and impressive, particularly in a market where good deals don't last long. I would not hesitate recommending Chris Zaharko. His market knowledge is second to none, he is a strong negotiator and he is extremely responsive. In my experience he is second to none.

Chris was recommended through a friend. As we were new to Calgary, we needed someone with local knowledge and a lot of patience to show us around. We have been all over the city, looking at dozens of properties. Chris managed to set up many consecutive showings in a single day which allowed for a very efficient orientation of the city. Once we had a better idea of the neighborhoods we refined our search. During the week we worked on a list of available properties, and set up the viewings over the weekend. Chris' knowledge of properties in general (including assessing building quality, potential re-sale value etc.) helped us to make our decision. He gave honest advice and wasn't just talking along with us to please us, he gave us real advice. During the negotations, we went back and forth a few times with the sellers and some solid advice was given by Chris on contractual terms that were foreign to us (as first-time home buyers). This saved us money down the road as Chris ensured all the proper documentation (such as the RPR report) was in the sellers scope. After an conditional offer was accepted, we used the (by Chris recommended) Home Inspector and Lawyer to finalize the deal. We were impressed with his connections as they were knowledge, readily available and affordable as compared to other quotes we received. We are very happy with Chris his service. He is an all-around good-guy, knowledgeable and he has been around. He knows the right people and really went above and beyond to find our new home. I would recommend Chris to anyone if you are looking for your new home in Calgary and want some solid and honest advice.
