Arun listed as our realtor but was absent after the second meeting; another agent, Rahul, handled most showings, leaving us disconnected from the process on how arun was supposed to be our realtor. - Scheduled a photographer who didn’t show on the arranged day; we had to reschedule. - Open houses were arranged with little or no notice — we learned of one showing the day before and the second via a Facebook post — forcing last-minute cleaning and preparation. - Communication was inconsistent and often slow: texts about buyers demanded were immediate replies while our questions about lawyers and house or went unanswered for days.23 days for septic and 6 for RPR - Misled about possession timing: we were told we could change the possession date when signing, yet the sale completed a month before we could move, forcing us into storage and temporary lodging at my father’s. - Critical disclosure missed: at closing the lawyer discovered a caveat on the land title ( 17 feet in front of the acreage ) that Arun should have identified. - Arun had us sign a “conflict of interest,” with no contact to the other party. yet the seller’s lawyer called us directly in the evening requesting personal details that Arun hadn’t provided. - Keys and possession confusion: we were told keys were handed over at 11:50 AM, arrived later to find no one, keys left in an electrical outlet, and delayed responses about the situation. - Arun took photos/videos of my wife, sister, and her kids during move-in 5 hours after possession. While I was driving to the acerage with my truck full of belongings 15 minutes away they didn’t wait. While I was the one who arranged the mortgage and logistics — was excluded, which felt unprofessional. - Rahul later said the previous owners left rest of the keys on a desk in the office, but we couldn’t find them and received no timely update; overall handling felt rushed and disorganized. We currently have 1 key ( would have been discussed had they waited for me to arrive since) -On the day of possession we discovered the hot water had been turned off, causing $1,200 in damage to our pump — a loss that could have been avoided if they’d waited the extra 15 minutes for my arrival, since we had no hot water all day.
