As a first-time home-buyer stepping into today’s turbulent real estate market, it can be overwhelming and anxiety-inducing, but Anna made the process so exciting and fun. She anticipated my questions, and never made me feel silly for my lack of knowledge. She also never made me feel pressured, and approached this experience more as an educational/experiential exercise for me rather than a buyer-broker partnership. From the first outing we did, I was so impressed by her organization and thoughtfulness (she brought print outs of each MLS listing, and planned out the schedule perfectly, among other things). She was able to successfully negotiate to a price that was well within my budget, for a beautiful condo that I feel so lucky to be moving into soon! She also set me up with a fantastic mortgage broker, and recommended a lawyer which made the process so much easier. Her efficiency, industry knowledge, response-time, sharp instinct, flexibility, and attention to detail are truly unmatched of partners I’ve worked with. Her warmth, generosity (time & knowledge), charisma, and patience are exceptional. She truly has become a family friend to us, and certainly a role model to me. I dreaded the thought of selling my home. I lived in it for 28 years and accumulated SO MUCH STUFF!!! When the time came to decide to move we decided to interview agents for the job of selling our house. The first agent tried to blow smoke up our behinds and went on and on about how he is the #8 agent in the world!!! Seriously! The door couldn't close fast enough on him. Then we interviewed Anna Wood. From the very beginning I felt a kinship with her. She just exudes honesty and dedication to her craft. She showed us a number of recent listings and recent sales in our area and shared with us her strategy to sell our house for the most money we could get. We hired her on-the-spot. She immediately had a detailed pre-home inspection done and had a stager come to our house to "spruce it up". Our house sold quickly and for what we wanted. We enjoyed our experience so much with Anna that we hired her to help us purchase a home in Ancaster. It only took two trips out there and we purchased a home that we absolutely love. We move in a month and can't wait!!!
