Sean is an amazing real estate agent and human being. We first met him over 20 years ago when we purchased our first home, so when we decided to buy a new home and sell our existing home, it was a no-brainer that of course we’d be calling him. He was quickly able to ascertain what we were looking for and once the perfect house came on the market, we were able to get in quickly and put in an offer. Sean has amazing insight, thanks to his years of experience. In selling our current home, the range of services that he and his team provides helped us to get our house showroom ready and the result was that it sold in 30 hours after hitting the market! (Is it the luck of the market or from the advice from Sean and his team? I would say perhaps a bit of both!) I highly recommend that if you’re looking to sell or purchase a home to contact Sean. This team is the one you want to work with! They handle very detail (and I mean, down to the nitty gritty), and take the guess work out of buying and selling. Here is something unusual: Sean McCann is the only real estate agent that listened to us. Over the years, we dealt with and/or interviewed many real estate professionals. They only had one thing in mind: price the house for a quick sale and they would not listen to any of the points we tried to make. They would cite comps from different parts of Ottawa to convince us to list it at a lower price point. To them, out house was a commodity that was made up of a certain number of rooms, baths and lot size. Sean explained the market trends, presented relevant comps, but he also understood what was special about out house and never treated as a commodity. And most importantly, at the end of the day, he said, it is your house and your decision. The interesting thing was that even though he listed the property at a higher price point than other agents recommended, he sold it in less than a week. And this is not an accident, his track record is extraordinary as he sells properties faster than others and he has the numbers to back up that claim. We never met a more thoughtful, accommodating, pleasant to deal with and efficient agent than Sean McCann.
