For Tamaya, all roads led to a career in real estate. With a background in customer service, a passion for working with people, and a love for architecture and history, she knew early on that becoming a realtor was where she was meant to be. Born in the beautiful fishing and logging town of Bella Coola, Tamaya’s family relocated to the Comox Valley when she was a young girl. She has traveled extensively, often leaving for months at a time, but always found her way back to the island. Her broad worldview, intuitive personality, and compassion are what guides her and she extends these qualities to those around her, too. As she continues to balance building a sustainable business and spending time with her partner and family–and her Australian Shepherd named Bunny–she’s eager to help others build a life in the Valley, a place she’s learned first-hand is truly like no other.
