Who is Sue Blanchet

A lifetime Victoria local. Sue has lived in all the coveted neighbourhoods. Growing up in Gordon Head, in Saanich East, attending Fairburn Elementary, Arbutus Jr. High, where she played basketball with Steve Nash, and Mount Doug Senior Secondary. Her roots are deep and her connections are wide. In 1992 she began her 8 year stint at the University of Victoria where she continued to expand her Victoria Network. During these years Sue lived in Oak Bay, James Bay, Fairfield and in a lovely home on the Gorge Waterway while completing her Law Degree in 2002. She grew up sailing with her family, and continues the family heritage of boating on the West Coast following in the footsteps of her Great Aunt, Wylie “Capi” Blanchet, author of the Curve of Time, captaining a sailboat with her three young sons exploring the route Capi and Captain Vancouver, before her, followed through the Gulf Islands and countless inlets Beautiful British Columbia’s Coast has to offer.
