About Lindsie Tomlinson PREC*
I love helping first time home buyers through the excitement and nervousness of buying their first property. It doesn't have to be scary!
I also specialize in helping families who have outgrown their current home, usually with the arrival of a wee one. Who knew someone so small could take up so much space?
I truly love helping my clients sell their home so they can move on to the next stage of their life.
Whether that’s upsizing, downsizing or relocating, it’s a pleasure for me to guide and advise them during the process.
My Sellers often comment that I "go above and beyond". I will not only market your particular property in the best possible way but I will give you real advice based on knowledge, experience and the current market and what the best strategy is for your situation.
As a Buyer or a Seller, you will always only ever get my expert advice and honest opinion, backed up by stats and sales and my years of experience.
In 2021 and 2022, I was the top agent in my office — because I sold A LOT of homes. In 2023, I slipped to the number 2 spot because I needed to spend some quality time with my family on a European adventure. As much as I hate to toot my own horn, I’m even more proud of the fact that for the last 3 years, I have consistently been recognized as one of Vancouver’s Top Agents by Rank My Agent.
I believe in strong communication, a high level of service, ongoing support and advice, and providing clients with all the information they need to make the most informed decision.
I live in East Vancouver with my husband and two sons in a substantially renovated house, originally built in 1929. After buying it in 2010, we found it was becoming too small for our growing family, so in 2018/19 we embarked on a year-long renovation project — which has given me more knowledge of navigating city permits, dealing with contractors, choosing finishings and dealing with the stresses of going over budget than I ever wanted.
The bright side is being able to pass on my experience and knowledge to anyone considering a renovation — whether it’s a kitchen or bathroom reno or a full on down-to-the-studs project.
A background in business management has honed my negotiation and marketing skills. And my passion for real estate — and for building lifelong relationships with my clients — has put me in the top 10% of Greater Vancouver REALTORS®. Word-of mouth-referrals really are the highest compliment, and they’re how I have grown my business over the years.
I’m a proud supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network and Mom2Mom, with a portion of each of my sales going directly to these local charities. I volunteer with Mom2Mom, Trout Lake Little League and the Vancouver International Wine Festival. I am also PAC Chair at Vancouver Technical high school.
I enjoy the process of helping clients buy and sell in changing markets and negotiating the best possible outcome for each individual. It is your home after all! And as Shakespeare said, "people are often happiest at home."
