We hadn't had experience with selling or purchase for many years, so it was a new and different experience for us. We knew Stewart personally and were happy to give him the business of selling two of our properties. The first was our condo. It was scary in this market: although it's a sellers market, there is a flood of condo's available at this time. Stewart was confident we could sell ours in a reasonably quick time, and coached us through preparation. Our natural inclination was to have everything repaired and clean and in the best condition possible, so our objectives aligned with what Stewart advised us. The property sold in 19 days, and this was #1 of a 3-piece puzzle around our move out of Calgary, so it was a nail-biter. The one major comment we would make is the quality of the listing could have been better. The pictures that were presented on the listing were not representative of the actual place, mostly because of poor colour representation. It is important, these days as most of the shopping is done on-line before the potential customer makes the commitment to view the property.
