Buying and selling a home can be a daunting task, but Liviu made the process as convenient and bearable as possible. Throughout the six-month journey, Liviu was a great help in each step of the way. I met Liviu by chance a few months before finding a listing that met most of our needs. After finding the listing, Liviu eagerly assisted with the viewings, negotiation, and home inspection, despite it being two and a half hours away. Liviu even did the research to find a qualified home inspector to check the unique features of the new home, saving us time. The purchase was relatively easy, but Liviu’s value was in selling our home. Starting with a walkthrough inspection of our current home and property, Liviu identified issues needing attention. Knowing which issues to focus on made for effective use of our time and money. Staging was used to augment existing furnishings to maximize the home’s appeal to prospective buyers. Liviu handled everything from coordinating with a designer, delivery, installation, and eventual removal. We didn’t feel that Liviu had taken over redecorating our home as we were able to collaborate with the designer throughout the process. Liviu was instrumental in helping us sell our home and for the right price. Despite the higher interest rates that had cooled off the selling market, Liviu used a combination of open houses, local and overseas advertising, and established relationships with other agents to keep our house in the sight of prospective buyers. Although the sale took longer than we initially anticipated due to the market slump, we were very happy with the outcome. Our home was only one of two homes that sold during a two-month period, despite being in a buyers’ market and competing with about six comparable homes in our immediate neighborhood. The other homes are either still on the market, had price reductions, or been pulled from the market. Liviu’s value was not just in selling our home, but also in ensuring a smooth transition between our old and new homes. Even after the sale, Liviu continued to stay connected with us and offered to help with tasks that went well beyond what we think a realtor would normally do. We never got the impression that Liviu was focused on getting the commission as quickly as possible. He genuinely strived to ensure this journey had the best possible outcome for us. Overall, Liviu’s professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail made the entire process as good as it could be. It was a pleasure working with Liviu and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a real estate agent in the future.
