I cannot recommend Geoff Ryan at Vantage West Realty enough. After years of saving while living in my parents’ trailer during the summers and in my Nana and Papa’s basement during the winters, I was finally ready to find a place of my own. While I’m incredibly grateful for my family’s support, I was more than ready to take this next step in life. At the beginning of the process, I felt overwhelmed and discouraged after meeting realtor after realtor without much luck. Geoff was referred, and honestly, I almost didn’t answer the call because of how stressed and uncertain I felt. I’m so glad I did. From the very first conversation, Geoff immediately helped put my mind at ease. He took the time to explain who he was, how he works, and what I could expect throughout the home-buying process. He even put together a presentation explaining the current housing market, what to watch for, and how things could look moving forward. What really stood out was how patient and thorough he was. We toured homes not just to look at properties, but so he could teach me what questions to ask and what issues to look out for. Geoff did deep dives into every property, helping me understand potential costs, risks, and whether a home would truly put me in a good position long term. He also connected me with an incredible team of financial advisors and inspectors, and he was never afraid to dig deeper into any questions my dad and I had along the way. We definitely threw some curveballs at him, but Geoff always adapted, listened carefully, and made sure he understood exactly what we wanted from each property. Buying my first home felt intimidating at first, but Geoff’s hard work, expertise, honesty, and guidance made the experience so much more manageable and exciting. I truly cannot thank him enough for everything he did to help me reach this milestone.
