We first met with Cory to get information on the process of buying and selling back in April of 2022. Cory was very informative right from the start. He asked lots of questions to ensure he understood what we were looking for, pulled stats for the market at that time. Cory was open and honest with what we would be able to achieve with our budget at that time so that we could adjust our expectations. Cory even took us out for pre-emptive showings so that we could get a feel of the market. Cory was patient with us as we sorted out our timeline and prepared our condo for the real estate market. By the time we were ready to list in July 2022, Cory had everything prepared for us. He walked through our condo with us and helps us to stage with our own furniture. He ensured everything was perfect from the photography/videography to the brochures. Everything was so professional. No one had anticipated the way that the market would turn after the interest rate increase in July. Cory supported us through the slow down of the market and reassured us to not give up even after one conditional offer fell through. And thank goodness he supported us to stay listed because just as he expected we received another offer and sold our condo in August 2022! Given the lack of movement in the market at this time and the fact that our condo had sold higher than other comparable units in our neighbourhood at the same time, we are ecstatic with the outcome! Not only did Cory help us achieve a wonderful sale, but he also held our hands through the buying process! At the beginning of our search, we had trouble securing viewings like most people. Cory would set out a schedule of the properties we were interested in seeing, but by the time our viewing dates came along most had sold. As the market began to slow down in July, Cory continued to bring us out to viewings so we could get a better idea of what we liked for our next home and what our desirable areas were. Once our condo sale firmed up, Cory was there to move on a purchase offer. Cory was able to pull the history of a house that we loved and created a game plan for our offer. Cory negotiated our offer in a truly professional manner and ensured we got the best conditions possible including a home inspection and finance condition. Cory was able to further negotiate following the home inspection and we were beyond happy with the outcomes! Cory was absolutely incredible to work with, a total professional! He had absolutely no pressure on us through the selling and buying process. He ensured that we were in the drivers seat for this huge life decision! We will not hesitate to call Cory in the future if we need a real estate agent and we definitely recommend him to any one he is looking to navigate the market!
