Growing up on the farm, in a Christian family home, I could never imagine wanting to be anywhere else. It will always remain home in my heart but, in the fall of 1997 the 'big city" was calling my name. I said goodbye to the cows, the horses and the dogs and moved to Red Deer. Population 66,000!
Very quickly my interests shifted from chores on the farm to sales and client service. I worked nearly six years, at what was then my dream job, with a local Polaris dealership gaining experience in parts, service, sales, finance and general management.
Although my interest in Real Estate began with the purchase of my first home in 2001, my Real Estate "life" didn't really begin until the summer of 2003. I obtained my Real Estate agents licences from the Real Estate Training Institute in Edmonton and partnered up with my father who had been in the industry for some time.We worked together at the brokerage which he was licensed through for about a year.
