About John Rota
John Rota was born and raised in Edmonton, AB. He studied Construction Engineering Technology a NAIT and proceeded to work in the fast-paced residential construction industry. Passionate about homes, residential construction and servicing his clients the move to real estate was a natural fit. With encouragement from friends and family, John started the müve team at RE/MAX Elite. John strongly believes in education and always tries to pursue personal development and growth, see below for a look at a few of the designations John holds to better serve his clients and friends.

What’s your favorite restaurant in the city?
As a foodie, it’s very hard to pick just one so I’ll have to give my top three here, Co Do Hue, Dadeo’s and Il Pasticcio.
What’s your favorite activity to do on your free time?
It’s either playing or coaching rugby for my club the Leprechaun Tigers or playing pick-up basketball wherever the good players will let me stumble around the court!
What’s your favorite place to unwind with friends?
That’s Central Social Hall. They have a fun atmosphere with great food and drinks. Perfect place for anyone really!
Would you rather visit the world 100 years into the past or 100 years into the future?
I would go 100 years in future. I would be way too curious to see how everything turns out.
If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?
Teleportation for sure! I’d be anywhere in the world whenever I wanted to be there, every traveler's dream power.
