A little bit of information about my business ventures as a young adult.
When I was 11 I use to buy items in bulk from my parents store (Pet Valu) and I would go to the local market on the weekends and sell it individually. I expanded my business at a young age helping out the local campgrounds working at various tasks.
I started college when I was 17 in the Business Program and obtained student Summer Program Ontario government grant where I opened up a property maintenance company in and around Sauble Beach, Oliphant, Red Bay, Hope Bay and Wiarton.
I did everything from building customer relationships, quoting, billing, social media, advertising, and time management where I ran my own business for 3 years.
I backpacked through Europe on 2 separate occasions for 7 months each time. I was fortunate to see 43 countries which was a fantastic learning experience.
My entrepreneurial drive continued where I worked Door to Door sales as a team leader for 9 months.
