Real Rank provides services for members of the public, brokers and real estate agents. In the course of providing those services, members of the public may upload information about brokers and real estate agents to the site and may also include in content they upload personal information. The uploading of information by brokers and agents or members of the public is not necessarily a collection of personal information by us. However, we will treat personal information that finds its way into our site in the same way as we will treat personal information that we deliberately collect.
Your privacy is important to us and the purpose of this policy is to tell you what personal information we collect about you, how we use it, whether we disclose it to anybody else, how long we keep it, and how you can request access to your personal information or obtain more information about Real Rank Inc. privacy policies.
Personal information: Personal information means any information about you except your name, business title, business address, business e-mail address, business telephone number or business facsimile number. It also does not include your home address and telephone number if these are published in any telephone or other form of public directory.

What personal information do we collect?
When uploading information to the site, write to us, purchase any products from or through us, participate in one of our surveys or promotions, or contact us and speak to any of our staff, we may collect some or all of the following, depending on the situation:
- Your name, address and phone number
- Your e-mail address and or facsimile number
- Your occupation
- Information about your interest and experience in in real estate
- Geographic areas that interest you and areas of expertise
- When was your last real estate transaction
- The transaction address
- The property address
- Your language preference
The security of your personal information is important to us.
Your personal information is used by us only for the purposes identified below and access to your personal information is limited to those employees of Real Rank Inc. who need to have authorized access to it. This information is not shared with any other outside agency unless as directed by you.
How do we use your personal information?
Your personal information is used to ensure the validity of a review. The transaction address is never shared publicly and is only used for validating purposes. We provide product updates and education to our real estate professionals and brokers.
Sometimes we have to share your personal information with others.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may need to disclose your personal information where we are required by law to do so.
How long do we keep your personal information?
We retain your personal information as long as we believe that you are still the owner/tenant of the house you refer to in the information you give us. If the information relates to the financing or lease of the house, we retain personal information relating to the financial or lease arrangements as long as those arrangements are in place or if we feel that this information will be useful to you or us for a reference point or questions you might have in the future. If the information relates to our services we retain the personal information for as long as is reasonable necessary to address any issues arising from the services, or as may be required by law. As many future customers might have concerns about the history of a home or of a particular broker or agent, this information might be held for as long as is reasonably necessary. If there are legal requirements relating to the period of time which we must retain your personal information, we comply with those requirements.
What can you do if you want to limit the use to which we put your personal information?
Most of the personal information which we collect is necessary for us to: provide products and services, assist you in finding a broker or agent or to provide service in relation to your home and we cannot do this without that personal information. Similarly, we must disclose your personal information as described above in order to provide the services. If you do not want us to use or disclose your personal information in a particular way, please contact our privacy officer as described above and we will be pleased to discuss with you how we can limit collection, use or disclosure of your personal information. However, you should be aware that if you limit the information we use, we may not be able to provide you with certain services.
You can request access to your personal information.
You have a right to access the personal information we have about you and to request that any personal information that you believe to be inaccurate, be corrected. If you wish to access your personal information you should contact our privacy officer who will be pleased to assist you.
